Agra Fort :-
Agra Fort is located on the right bank of the river Yamuna in the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the most important and robustly built stronghold of the Mughals, embellished with number of richly decorated buildings encompassing the imposing Mughal style of art and architecture. The ear-shaped fort’s colossal double walls rise over 20m in height and measure 2.5km in circumference. Agra Fort built by Akbar in Red Sandstone when he was through with the consolidation of his power after accession to power in 1654, Agra Fort worked both as a military strategic point as well as the royal residence.

Itimad-ud-Daula :-
Itmad-ud-daula has a special place in the chronicles of both history as well as architecture. This is precisely because ItmadudDaula is the very first tomb in India that is entirely made out of Marble. The Itimad-ud-Daula’s Tomb is situated on the left bank of river Yamuna next to Chini-ka-Rauza. Itimad-ud-Daula was the title given to MirzaGhiyath Beg, father of NurJahan. He held the post of Lord of treasure of the empire and later rose to the dignity of wazir under Jahangir. NurJahan completed the construction of the building of the Tomb of her father in 1628 AD, nearly 7 years after his death. Along with the main building, the structure consists of numerous outbuildings and gardens gardens laid out on the Char Bagh pattern surrounding it.

MehtabBagh :-
MehtabBagh is a charbagh complex. Char translates as 4, bagh translates as garden. Thus, it is a four compartment garden design. This classic style of Mughal garden lies within a perfect square shape. This park, originally built by Emperor Babur as the last in a series of 11 parks on the Yamuna’s east bank, long before the Taj was conceived, fell into disrepair until it was little more than a huge mound of sand. To protect the Taj from the erosive effects of the sand blown across the river, the park was reconstructed and is now one the best places from which to view the great mausoleum.
